Spatial Structures in the Social Sciences (S4)

Fellow Support

S4 offers grants to Fellows to support the use of spatial analysis in their research.

S4 is keen to support the ongoing use and application of spatial analysis tools in S4 Fellow research. Aside from informal mentoring and training, S4 offers up to five grants of $500 each, to be awarded on a competitive basis.

These grants are intended for S4 Fellows presenting a research paper using GIS/spatial analysis methods or to defray costs associated with spatial aspects of dissertation related research, or taking part in a GIS/spatial analysis training workshop, institute, or short course.
